Alicia Alvez

Alicia Alvez

Donors Relations Manager

Alicia  Alvez Do Prado, was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. At 19, she emigrated in search of greater opportunities and, like many, found herself in Massachusetts.

Inspired by humble visionaries like Johnny Appleseed, she settled in Leominster, where she spent the last 30 years working in everything from restaurants to multinational corporations. But her heart has always held tightly to my Uruguayan roots.

That’s why she’s proud to support Centro Celeste—a place to unify, preserve, and celebrate our culture. She dreams of creating a shared home for our community, where new generations of Uruguayans can feel the joy of Truco, rainy-day tortas fritas.
